BARNSLEY boss Keith Hill didn’t enjoy that sinking feeling on Saturday as his side slipped to a 1-0 home defeat against in-form Southampton.
The Reds are without a win or even a goal now in three competitive games so far this season following David Connolly’s 30th minute winner at Oakwell.
The Saints extended their club record-breaking run of straight league wins to eight, but for Hill it proved a miserable afternoon.
He said: “For the first time in five years of management I felt alone out there in the second half.
“But far from this experience killing me, it’s just going to make me stronger.”
