BARNSLEY boss Mark Robins is sweating on the fitness of Marlon Harewood ahead of Saturday’s mouth-watering South Yorkshire derby clash with Sheffield United.
Harewood, on-loan from Premier League strugglers Blackpool, hobbled off with a hamstring injury in Easter Monday’s enthralling 2-2 home draw with Doncaster Rovers at Oakwell.
But Robins is hopeful the forward, who has plundered four goals in 10 appearances since joining the Reds, will be fit for the weekend’s clash with the Blades.
“Marlon missed training, but we’re hopeful he’s going to be okay for Saturday,” Robins told The Star.
“He’s got a small strain, but we’d love him back because he’s scored some important goals for us.”
