Barnsley winger Jim O’Brien has heralded the arrival of new manager Danny Wilson to Oakwell.
Former Reds player, player-manager and then ultimately manager Wilson made his ‘second coming’ at the club this week.
And hopes are high from the club’s supporters, who have had to endure some hard times this season, that will Wilson will be the man to turn around their faltering season.
“It’s always the same when a new manager comes in, it’s a fresh slate for everyone,” said O’Brien.
“Everyone is looking to impress, every day in training, and take their chance when it comes.
“I am sure the manager knows enough about the squad, he is experienced enough, he has seen us a few times this season so will know a lot about the players.”
