BARNSLEY striker Andy Gray is relishing the challenge of trying to topple Championship high-fliers Derby County at Pride Park tonight.
The Reds take on the Rams at Pride Park on a decent run of form themselves having gone five games unbeaten.
Keith Hill’s ambitious team are now taking shape after a shaky start to the domestic campaign and have yet to lose away from home this season.
And Gray admits it would leave a “sour taste in the mouth” if they didn’t pick up a welcome win before the international break which kicks into play after Saturday’s home clash with Coventry City.
“Hopefully we can go into the international break with a win under our belts; our performances away this season have merited that,” Gray told The Star.
“Derby are flying at the moment, so it’s going to be a very hard game. But we proved against Birmingham and Leicester that we can mix it with the best of them. Hopefully we’ll go there and give a good account of ourselves.”
