BLACKPOOL and Nottingham Forest have both made offers to buy Barnsley's star winger Adam Hammill.
It was believed that Wolves were the front-runners to secure the former Liverpool midfielder's signature.
But a senior source at Oakwell told The Star that Wolves have yet to make an official approach for the player despite Molineux manager Mick McCarthy having cast his eye over Hammill when the Reds hosted Coventry City earlier this month.
"We've had two offers for Adam, one from Blackpool and one from Nottingham Forest," revealed the source.
"We're also expecting to one from Wolves, but we've not had an official approach as yet."
Hammill has a 500,000 buy-out clause in his current three-year contract and it is believed both Blackpool and Forest have offered that figure to acquire the player.
Meanwhile, striker Jamil Adam has had his contract cancelled by mutual consent.
