Danny Wilson has dismissed suggestions he should be feeling a selection headache over his striking options.

All four of Barnsley’s main strikers have started the season with decent form and all have bagged at least one goal so far.

But Wilson has welcomed the choice between Sam Winnall, Leroy Lita, Devante Cole and Kane Hemmings and says all four will get their chance to shine in the coming weeks.

“It’s not a headache,” Wilson said. “I don’t see it that way from my perspective about who to play.

“I think it’s the four players that are in understanding that their three mates are good players as well.

“They can all form relationships on the pitch, they can score goals and they can all contribute in different ways if they are not scoring.

“We’ve just got to make sure we get the right blend for the right game.

“From where I’m sat, they are all capable of playing and they will all be used.

“There will be no real preference for any player over a period of time.

“A lot of the time it’s about the team you see in front of you and picking your team accordingly to try and get the result.”

Wilson this afternoon will select a team to attempt to beat MK Dons at Oakwell.

And he says he will also use whatever tactics are necessary for victory against one of League One’s best footballing sides.

He said: “Everybody is talking about them after that well-deserved win over Manchester United but this is League One and League One is different.

“It’s a real tough game but I’m expecting us to beat them.

“We’ve got great confidence at this point in time. We’ll have to work our tails off to win the game. We know that.

“They’re a footballing side and we’ve got to find a way of beating them by whatever means.

“If it means we have to have a physical side of our game to win the game then so be it.”

Wilson hopes to be able to call on Keith Treacy and James Bailey for today’s game.
