BARNSLEY have turned their attentions to Terry Butcher after number one choice Sean O’Driscoll turned down their managerial vacancy.
The Reds, who are bottom of the Championship, have today made an approach for Inverness Caledonian Thistle boss Butcher.
The former England centre-half and captain has been in charge of the Scottish Premier League club since January 2009.
The 54-year-old has previously managed Coventry City and Sunderland.
