Reds youngster George Maris has signed a new one-year contract extension with the League One club.
The Reds’ former Academy graduate has penned a deal until the summer of 2016 having impressed boss Lee Johnson.
Maris, 19, is one of only two players who were offered contracts to stay at Oakwell with a summer clearout having already started at the League One club.
Defender Lewin Nyatanga is the only other player to have been offered a new deal.
The Star understands the experienced centre-back is expected to be offered a new two-year deal, with the option of a third year if all parties can agree on the terms of the new contract.
