BARNSLEY have offered promising youngsters Jordan Clark and Danny Rose new contracts at Oakwell.

Midfielder Clark and striker Rose are both contracted to the Championship club until 2013, but the Reds’ want to offer both players a year extension to their current deals.

Fellow former Reds’ Academy graduates Paul Digby and John Stones both signed new deals last month with the club until 2015.

Defender Stones is tipped to make his debut for the England Under-19 side tomorrow night in a friendly fixture against Germany in Hamburg, while 17-year-old midfielder Digby had been on standby for the match.

“We’re in talks with Jordan and Danny about new deals, hopefully they will both extend their contracts with us,” Reds’ director Don Rowing told The Star.
