BARNSLEY striker Mido is unlikely to leave the club until the New Year.
The former Egypt international has played just 27 minutes of first-team football this season due to lack of match fitness. The Reds, who fined the player two week’s wages for an offensive post on his Twitter account, are keen to offload him.
“We’re getting a little bit nearer with a deal, but we’re still chatting to Mido’s agent,” revealed Reds director Don Rowing. “Hopefully we’ll get something sorted in the New Year. These things take time.”
