Reds goalkeeper Luke Steele has not given up the fight for Championship survival.
Nothing less than victories in their last two games of the season will be enough to see the Reds avoid relegation.
“Stranger things have happened,” said Steele. “The Easter weekend was a disaster, but we’re not dead and buried. But we know it’s win or bust.
“We’ve still got something to play for, so hopefully we can go into this weekend’s game [away to Middlesbrough] with plenty to play for.
“If we win then it keeps us in with a shout. There’s no option but to keep the faith and the hope. We’ve got to keep the positive vibes going.”
A victory might not be enough to keep the Reds up if fellow strugglers win, but Steele believes momentum would be on their side if survival was to be determined on the final day of the season.
“If we win on Saturday then, unless the teams above us win, then we go into the last weekend of the season with massive confidence and hope,” stressed Steele.
