DONCASTER Rovers Supporters’ Club chairman Len South has called for fans ejected from Saturday’s League One clash at Hartlepool to be banned from the Keepmoat.
Fighting broke out among a small group of Doncaster supporters in the away end midway through the second half of the 1-1 draw against and police had to help stewards to restore order.
Several people were removed by police, as was a fan who ran on to the pitch to celebrate skipper Rob Jones’ late equaliser.
South said the actions of a tiny minority of fans were giving both the Supporters’ Club and Rovers a bad name.
South, who felt the the incident was probably drink-related, said he didn’t recognise any of the people involved.
