An Adam Watson hat-trick laid the foundations for Yorkshire Main’s Central Midlands League side’s 4-1 win over Doncaster Deaf to claim the last place in the Doncaster Senior League’s FA Challenge Cup semi-finals.
Luke Hensley was also on target for Main with Mark Sinclair replying.
The semi-finals on Easter Monday will see Yorkshire Main cross swords with Sutton Rovers, whilst Edlington Town host AFC Sportsman Rovers.
Having beaten Swinton Station Athletic 1-0 in midweek, Christopher Douglas being their marksman, AFC Sportsman Rovers had hoped to clinch the Premier Division title when they hosted Maltby MW, but it ended goalless. Rovers remain 15 points clear of their nearest rivals with only six matches remaining.
A brace of victories propelled Sutton Rovers into second spot in the table. They conquered Maltby MW 7-0 in midweek, Tom Chambers, Ryan Walker, Luke Chambers, Courtney Peynado, Mitchell Wain, Dean Williams and James Conway all finding the net, while Luke Chambers got a hat trick in the 4-0 success over Retford Town on Saturday. James Conway added the other goal.
Reigning champions Edlington Town also chalked up successive victories, starting with a 4-1 win at Bawtry Town in midweek.
Michael Brown bagged a brace for Town, Chris Colley and Adam Francis doubling the tally with Jermaine Green replying.
Edlington triumphed 6-2 at local rivals Yorkshire Main on Saturday. Chris Colley (2), Michael Brown, Craig Dyson, Reece Davis and Adam Francis being the men on target. Christopher Freeman and Daniel Wake shared out the home goals.
Gary Hodgson scored twice when Adwick Park Rangers A beat Bawtry Town 4-3. Andy Kime and Ryan Chester also found the net with Jamie Greenwood, Simon Minshall and Jack Burton all replying.
A double strike from Mark McDermott gave South Elmsall United Services the edge in a 3-1 derby success over South Kirkby Colliery A. Martin Walsh also weighed in with a goal. Shane Head scored the Colliery goal from the penalty spot.
Bramley Sunnyside are still top of Division One despite a 1-0 home defeat at the hands of ISG Doncaster, for whom Marek Szeszol netted.
Two points behind with two games in hand, Carcroft Village were held 1-1 by FC Tavern, Joe Fisher and Chris Myers being the respective scorers.
Hatfield Main, who are also involved in the title race, shared the spoils 1-1 at Hemsworth Town. Kyle Lacy scored for Town with Craig Taylor responding for Main.
A hat-trick from Lewis Osborne saw Ackworth United account for Adwick Park Rangers B 4-0. James Bouskill completed United’s tally.
After an impressive midweek triumph, Edlington Rangers kept up the momentum with a 3-1 victory over Upton Brookside. Mark Barkham, Chris Marklew and Stuart Clark shared out the goals. Rangers had earlier conquered ISG Doncaster 8-1 with Barkham, Marklew and Lee Hesketh all bagging a brace of goals with Clark and Ben Whitaker rounding things off.
Travellers FC beat Bawtry Town Reserves 3-1 thanks to goals by Craig Hobson (2) and Ricky Gaskell.
