It was a bad day for Bradley Wiggins but a good one for Team Sky colleague Rigoberto Uran yesterday at the Giro d’Italia.

The Colombian won the 167 km 10th stage from Cordenons to Altopiano del Montasio to move within two minutes and four seconds of leader Vincenzo Nibali.

Wiggins lost 37 seconds on Nibali and is now 2:05 back.

Rotherham’s Ben Swift begins the Tour of Norway today after a three-month injury absence.
