ROTHERHAM’S Ben Swift will continue his recovery from a crash earlier this year with a series of one-day races in Belgium.

Swift, aged 25, who rides for British-based Team Sky was hoping to make an impact in the season’s ‘Spring Classics’ but his fall on a descent during the Trofeo Alcudia on February 6 in Majorca left him nursing a knee injury.

He was due to return for the Kuurne-Bruxelles-Kuurne, on February 24 but the race was cancelled due to bad weather. Instead his first event back will be the Dwars door Vlaanderen on March 20.
