Yorkshire Schools project
Yorkshire CCC are set to launch an innovative new learning programme for youngsters next week.
The North Yorkshire Playing for Success scheme will be introduced on Monday to deliver cricket themed classroom work and cricket coaching in schools.
Playing for Success, the first of its kind in the country, is a nationwide 'out of school hours' learning programme supported by the Department for Children, Schools and Families, local authorities and sport clubs.
The aim of the scheme is to raise achievement in literacy, numeric and ICT skills for children who are underachieving in schools.
