YORKSHIRE go into tomorrow’s must-win clash with Sussex at Scarborough without captain Andrew Gale who has a broken arm after being struck in the nets by a ball from Oliver Hannon-Dolby.

Yorkshire have dropped back into the relegation zone in Division One of the County Championship after Worcestershire’s win over Sussex who are two places and 25 points above Yorkshire.

Meanwhile, Derbyshire have pushed themselves into contention to get out of Division Two.

They have moved to third after the seven wicket win over Gloucs and have an attractive clash with leaders Northants at Chesterfield’s Queen’s Park starting tomorrow.

England Lions and Sri Lanka play a third game decider in the ODI series today.

Sheffield’s Joe Root made 62 and Jonny Bairstow 59 in 310-7 in the Lions’ 97 run win but both got ducks in the 10 wicket defeat in the second meeting.
