Parkhead won the Yorkshire and Derbyshire League Division One title for an 11th time, with a comprehensive win over local rivals De La Salle.
Batting first, Parkhead recovered from a jittery start to post 168-8 before De La Salle subsided to 56 all out (J Carrington 5-20) to cue champagne celebrations at the Wheatsheaf.
Apperknowle were bowled out for 117 (J Bagley 54, R Horne 5-24) by Sheffield Civil Service, who went on to win by seven wickets (S Wilson 56*).
Apperknowle must now win their last game, and hope Uni Staff lose, to avoid the drop and join Ashford in returning back to Division Two.
Holmesfield hit 231-5, with Jimmy Pearson making a century in successive games, this time scoring 110, (W Helliwell 55). Ashford in the Water were all out for 102 (C Nobrega 5-15).
Hollinsend Methodists totalled 227-7 (R Wadsworth 69, D Elliott 57) and routed Sheffield Centralians for 58. Stocksbridge were restricted to 134-8, and Sheffield University Staff eased their relegation worries with a three-wicket win.
Division Two champions Totley Sports made 171-9 and kept promotion chasing Hallam III to 155-7. Hathersage were all out for 139 (R Percival 44), but with Sheffield Collegiate VP 77-4 in reply, torrential rain forced the match to be abandoned.
Going into the last round, Hathersage will be promoted back to the top flight if they overcome champions Totley.
Hollinsend Methodists II made 188 (D Farrimond 46*) and bowled out Hundall for 156. Baslow scored 170-9 and sent back Sheffield University Staff II for 150.
In Division Three, Telecom Sports were blown away for 56 by Sheffield Medics, who secured a seven-wicket win and promotion.
Also promoted are Bakewell, who sent back Walkley for 86 and just held on for the win, losing eight wickets along the way (D Birch 6-34).
Stocksbridge II ended on 108-9, then saw bottom team Whittington Wanderers gain their first win of the season by three wickets. However, a win in the last round will see Stocksbridge safe.
Parkhead II closed at 161-7 (R Walch 65) and bowled out De La Salle II for 113 (B Williamson 5-23). Dronfield Woodhouse were 141 all out, but the match well poised with Totley Sports II on 101-4 when heavy rain saw the match abandoned.
Down in Division Four, TRS made 150 (I Shah 55, A Roberts 4-27, W Cooper 4-39) and sent back Ridgeway for 86 (S Khan 4-14), which sees TRS promoted.
Hallam IV were held to 112 by Shardlow Sports, who reached 111-9 before the match was bizarrely abandoned.
Relegated Baslow II reached 105-7, Coal Aston III stuttering to a two wicket win (G Woolley 41) to set up a winner-takes-all promotion deciding match with Hallam IV on Saturday.
Sheffield Transport were derailed for 59, Chesterfield Barbarians II going to victory by five wickets. Sheffield Civil Service II conceded their match with Sheffield Centralians II and, as a consequence, they are relegated.
Youlgrave Lodge won promotion from Division Five after a five-wicket win over Woodhouse (106 all out).
