PARKLANDS openers Mark Duncombe (25) and Graham Langford (27) gave their team a great start in their All Saints Indoor League clash against Warmsworth.
But once they had retired the rest of the Parklands batsmen struggled as the Warmsworth bowlers found their line and length and restricted them to 86-2.
Mindy Kundra gave his team a confident start after the early loss of his opening partner, and with good support from the remaining batsmen, guided his team to a close victory as they reached their target with just a few balls remaining.
Barnby Dun’s openers, Phillip Decent (27) and Jay Horne (25),
continued their recent good form with the bat with another excellent opening partnership against a young Hatfield Main.
They received good support from Stewart McPhee (23) and David Barrett (17) as they posted a sizeable total of 121-3.
Hatfield Main were always behind the run rate and fell well short of their target as Josh Oades claimed 2-9, and they were restricted 54-4 with only Andrew Teasdale (19) and Adam Berriman (16) showing any resistance
Rossington Main did not have a fixture whilst Hatfield Town’s opponents Brookhouse, were unable to raise a team.
