Rotherham Town has concluded its most successful cricket week with almost 100 children taking part at the Clifton Lane ground.
Supported by the England Cricket Board the week cost just £10 per child with equipment provided.
Coach Jonny Allan said it has been the best event so far: “We’ve been really lucky with the weather and have seen nearly 100 different children this week.
“There’s been an average of around 65 per day from five to 15-years-old. Everyone has really enjoyed it and hopefully it has created some interest in cricket.”
