IN-FORM Adwick-le-Street posted another big win in the Solly Sports South Yorkshire Alliance League Premier Division.

Wath elected to bat but they had no answer to a 6-12 haul by Adam Sturman and were all out for 63. Colin Bishop (33) top-scored in Adwick’s reply of 64-1.

Caribbean 265-8 (Waheed Bhatti 57, Mohammed Akram 50, Derrick Carwin 31), romped to victory over Whiston Meths 89 (Richard Bullimore 27). Mohammed Akram took 3-14. Handsworth struggled against Kilnhurst’s David Plummer (3-13) and Matthew Beevers (3-18) and were all out for 56. Kilnhurst were 58-0 in reply.

Alistair Challoner (59) and Grayham Langford (38) laid the foundations for Parklands’ match-winning 179-6 at home to Shiregreen, who put them in. Only Eric Robinson (39) made much impression on Craig Taylor (3-36), Daryle Deville (3-31) in their reply of 115 all out.

Harley 200 (Robert Newbold 46, Robert Wootton 38, Neil Cawthorn 25) beat Darfield, for whom Kieran Pickerill took 4-40 and Mark Roebuck (3-19), by 55 runs.

Darfield (Kieran Pickerill 38, Joss Care 26) were 145 all out in reply. Lee Pollard took 5-35 and Neil Cawthorn 3-34.

Adwick on Dearne 163-2 (Paul Jordan 60 not out, James Phillips 45), registered an eight-wicket Division One win at Forgemasters. The Sheffield side had earlier made 161-9 (Lawson 50, Stephen Bowes 26). James Phillips took 5-23 and Darren Snow 3-53.

Hampole & Skelbrooke (David Guest 55) defied a 3-44 haul by Paul Walker to make a match-winning 164-5 at home to Scholes.

Scholes (John Wagstaff 38, Stuart Lidster 37) were bowled out for 115 in reply - Steven Vickerage doing the damage with a 7-12 spell. Wentworth 222-6 (Daniel Laister 63, Tom Orr 51, Gareth Hobson 50, Matthew Sowter 26 not out), beat Telecom 202 (Rehan Mohammed 69 not out), John Dutton 31, Graham Bonner 27) by 20 runs. Daniel Laister took 7-45 for the winners.

Put into bat by Denaby & Cadeby, Hatfield Main made 155-9 on the back of solid knocks by Neil Purvis (35), Andrew Stuart (35) and Andrew Moores (27). Craig Cooper took 4-30. In reply, Denaby were bowled out for 67 (Adam Berriman 4-34).

Adwick-on-Dearne 135-7 (Jonathan Hood 22, Chris Gamble 21, Robert Gamble 20, Martin Fisher 20), suffered a four-wicket defeat by Doncaster Division Three rivals Brodsworth Main.

Main (Michael Rogerson snr 53) made 136-4 in reply. Jonathan Hood (5-27).

Whitley Hall 120 (Paul Chatterton 43) beat Eden Grove, for whom Nisar Ahmed took 4-27, by 68 runs.
