Green made 160-8 with Richard Taylor (55) and Chris Fisher (51) leading the way. The Doncaster side had no answer to a 5-6 eight over spell by Andy West ,and a supporting 3-8 by Richard Taylor.
An unbroken 145-run second-wicket stand between Daniel Lister (66 not out) and Tim Whitley (52 no), steered Wentworth (153-1) to a nine-wicket win at Forgemasters, who had made 152 with Steven Bell (31) top-scoring as Chris Stead weighed in with 5-39 and Gareth Hobson (3-32).
Scholes, who put Kilnhurst in, beat the home side by three wickets. Matthew Bacon (41), Tim Whitehouse (31) and Malcolm Whitehouse (29) provided the bulk of Kilnhurst’s 124 - Stuart Lidster taking 6-25. Chris Dobson (41) and Ben Kirk (32) helped Scholes defy Will Finney (4-13).
Ashley Grace (4-15) and Keith Laler jnr (4-12) put the skids under Telecom Sports (98). Barrie Down (24) and Craig Bond (24) starred in Eden Grove’s reply of 99-5. Neil Cadman took 3-6.
A 6-27 spell by Christopher Moxam, and 3-6 by Sammy Anwar, spelt a seven-wicket defeat for Wickersley Old Village (46) at home to Caribbean.
Tinsley defied a 4-17 spell by Jamie Elliot and a 3-35 haul by Thomas Green, to claim a two-run Division Two win over Brookhouse (90).
Tyler Smith (27) top-scored in Grimethorpe’s 23-run home win over Whiston Meths, for whom Adam Pursehouse took 4-5. Meths were all out for 66, Ben Elmore taking 5-25.
Only Sam Bowden (59) made much impact with the bat as Shiregreen were bowled out for 87 - Liam Green 6-20. Hatfield Main were 88-6 in reply.
A 6-20 stint by Joel Davis had Treeton back in the pavilion for just 85. An unbeaten 55 by William Finney steered Denaby & Cadeby (87-4) home.
James Hague (31) top-scored in Telecom Sports’ 60 in reply to Wath’s 101.
Josh Dacre (46no) and Ian Couldwell (36), shone in Adwick-on-Dearne’s (152-8) 35-run Division Three win over Forgemasters.
Reg Strawbridge (63) led the way in Parklands match-winning 125-7 at Brookhouse, for whom Thomas Siddall took 4-25. Matt Bateman (40) had earlier top-scored for Brookhouse in their 124-7.
Doncaster Town were skittled for 41, Joe Chatterton 4-10 and Joshua Singleton 3-8, by Whitley Hall (143-9). Oliver Warren hit 53 with Ross Green bagging 3-21.
