Sheffield Collegiate claimed the impressive scalp of Harrogate in the Yorkshire County ECB Premier League.
Opener Alex Patmore got Collegiate off to the perfect start with 91 as opener and although they lost Ashton Blakey for one Jacob Waterson steadied the ship with 28 and Simon Guy hit 86 to see the Sheffield side reach 292 for nine.
Despite Ryan Bradshaw’s 77 and Alexis Twigg’s 76, Collegiate managed to bowl Harrogate out for 239.
Junior Oliver Pearson took three wickets with Luke Shutt, Matthew Moroney and Matthew Dixon all taking two each.
Sheffield United collapsed in the South Yorkshire derby at Doncaster Town after looking to be in a good position.
United restricted Doncaster to 210 runs with James Stuart hitting 50 and Felix Odell 46.
It seemed an achievable target for United and they appeared to be on course to finish the job as Paul Cummins hit 33 and Mark Cummins 54 before being run out.
But the batting collapsed from then on with nobody managing to score above six as United were all out for 122.
Simon Widdup, who completed his 1,000 runs for the season the previous week, starred with the ball this time, taking 4-11, whil Oliver Jackson took 3-34.
It was a weekend to forget for Barnsley who were thrashed by York. Duncan Snell hit an incredible 187 for the league leaders before being run out and Liam McKendry made 100 not out as they declared on a mammoth total of 425.
Matthew Wilson restored some personal pride with a knock of 69 but Jack Leaning, who had already scored 50 for York, took five wickets for just five runs to see Barnsley all out for 150.
Rotherham and Yorkshire Academy both had wins.
Gareth Purshouse hit 96 for Rotherham as they reached 273 against Driffield and Elliot Callis made 76 as Yorkshire Academy swept Appleby Frodingham aside.
