JUST one game in the Solly Sports South Yorkshire Alliance was completed as the rain continued to disrupt the various leagues in the county.

Pete McConachie was the mainstay of Hatfield Main’s 194-7 in their Division Two clash at home to Wath.

McConachie, who top-scored with 92, shared in a 55-run third-wicket stand with William Mora (32) and a 45-run fourth-wicket stand with Andrew Stuart.

Wath were skittled for just 66 in reply. Jeff Dinsdale took 5-11 and Andrew Moores 3-14.

The only other game to start was the Premier Division clash between Kilnhurst and Whiston Meths. Kilnhurst made 196-6 with Carl Wilkinson (65) and Callum Deardon (45) putting on a stand of 98 for the third wicket.

Play was called off for the day during the tea interval.

The Barnsley League programme was called off on Sunday.
