ROSSINGTON Main maintained their grip on top spot in the All Saints Indoor Cricket League with a well-earned victory over Warmsworth.

Amit Kundra was the mainstay of the Warmsworth batting with a steady 25, but without any other support they closed their innings on a modest 71-2.

Openers Stewart Groves (15) and James Needham (27) laid the foundations for Main’s winning reply

Hatfield Town remain hard on their heels after beating a spirited Parklands (Mark Duncombe 17 and Khalid Khan 40). Richard Platt was 2-9.

In-form Town batsmen Chris Liddle (26) and Chris Stothard (26) starred in Town’s reply. Khan took 2-12.

Mel Bellamy (19) and junior Liam Green (13) were the only Hatfield Main batsman to show any resistance in their knock of 60 in their defeat against Brookhouse.
