Doncaster Town stump Indoor rivals

DONCASTER Town made it three wins out of three in their defence of their All Saints Indoor Cricket League title with a resounding victory over Askern Welfare.

Amit Kundra (33 not out) continued his fine form in the competition as he lead his side to a total of 133 for 3. Ryan Capstick (28) and Gareth Cox (21) both weighed in with supporting knocks.

Askern struggled from the start as Cox (3-8) struck. Nick Bisby (25) continued to impress with the bat but lacked support from his team mates.

Hatfield Town A kept up the pressure on their rivals with a victory over an enthusiastic Maltby. Main posted a total of 98-44 thanks to the in-form Paul Davies (39) and Andy Shelton (18),

Liam Woodward hit an aggressive 27, but apart from Phillip Fletcher(18) lacked any support. .

Rossington Main overcome rivals Barnby Dun with a hard fought game, Main reached 72-6 thanks to Michael Richardson (17) and Scott Wood (14). Keiran Dinnage (2 -22) and James Copley (2-11). Lacking inspirational captain Jay Horne, Dun failed to reach their target despite stand-in skipper Phil Decent (20) and fell a dozen runs short.
