A quick-fire, unbeaten 71 from Ian Simon helped Houghton Main overtake Barnsley’s 87 without losing a wicket, and Kexborough enjoyed a straightforward win over Wath.
Michael Jepps hit 72 of Kexborough’s 134, and Anthony Scully took 6-42 as Wath were bowled out for just 80.
Down in Division Two, Jonathan Plater hit 74 not out as Rotherham Town beat Aston Hall by five wickets, and Ethan Gray’s unbeaten 82 was the highlight of Elsecar’s eight-wicket victory at Sheffield United.
Chris Verity’s 80 helped Whitley Hall post a challenging 195-9 against Phoenix - who rose to the challenge to win by eight wickets, with 69 from Chris Longley and 54 not out from Rob Higgins.
