Yorkshire are in a great position to beat second-placed Middlesex at Lord’s on the final day.
They dismissed Middlesex for 175, taking a lead of 215, and when they followed on, leg spinner Adil Rashid struck with three late wickets.
Resuming on 16-1 overnight, Middlesex quickly lost Joe Denly for two to Ryan Sidebottom.
Next to go was Chris Rogers - in his final game before joining Australia’s Ashes squad - to Liam Plunkett for 27. Only 54 from South African Gareth Berg held up Yorkshire as Steve Patterson finished with 4-39 and Plunkett 4-50. Sidebottom bagged the other two.
Batting again, Sidebottom had Rogers caught behind off the fifth ball. Rashid broke a stand of 69 between Robson and Denly as Middlesex closed on 137-4.
