A 7-25 haul by Adwick-on-Dearne’s Simon Askew put the skids under Caribbean in their Solly Sports South Yorkshire Cricket Alliance Division One clash.
The visitors made short work of overhauling Caribbean’s 62 all out with Rob Horton top-scoring in their reply of 63-3.
Eden Grove posted a 47-run win over Scholes. Put into bat, Grove made 133 all out with Craig Bond (29) top-scoring. Scholes, for whom Ian Lewis had earlier taken 4-26, were bowled out for 86 in reply with Anthony Cator (4-22) and Ashley Grace (4-31) doing the damage.
Telecom (148-9) beat Kilnhurst (147) by one wicket.
Grimethorpe had no answer to a 4-12 spell by Thomas Green and were skittled out for just 48 in their Division Two clash at Brookhouse, who had earlier made 139 all out after being put in. Matthew Hemming (33) top-scored.
Hatfield Main recorded a 78-run win over visiting Treeton. Batting first, Main made 199-6 with Andrew Stuart (69) and Alan Lee (54) sharing the batting honours an Hammerton taking 4-35. Green (4-14) and Worrall (3-45) combined to bundle Treeton (Reed 39) out for 121.
Adwick-on-Dearne seconds had a 47-run Division Three defeat at Handsworth, who made 153 after being put in.
A hat-trick by Jon Fretwell (3-4), and a 4-10 spell by John Otter, saw Doncaster Town bundled out for 40 away at Sheffield United, who had earlier defied a 4-12 spell by Tom Bradley and a 3-23 haul by Mark Harris to make 101 (Sam Woodcock 24).
