Clifford puts Hustlers on track

The Hustlers raced into a 3-0 lead against Woodbourn B in the Magnificent Seven League. John Clifford got the better of Tony Darlow, hitting his 11th 180 of the season; Ken Wheatley beat Chris Cooper and Tony Paget overcame Mark Pigot and also recorded a 101 finish.

Woodbourne pulled one back through Steve Briggs who hit another 180 and a terrific 14-dart leg . But Gary Eaton, with a 180, beat Pete Allsopp to make the game safe at 4-1. Pete Daffin and Steve Thompson got the last two for the home side but it ended 4-3 to Hustlers.

All the other games ended 7-0. Steve Storey, Andy Bradbury and Gary Smith recorded 180s as Wales Bar beat Woodbourne A.

The other 7-0 wins came from Bridge Inn against Mosborough, Lord Nelson B over Trades B, Lord Nelson B against Steelers and Trades andLabour away to Turf.
