The annual British Gas Sychronised Swimming Championships is returning to Sheffield tomorrow and Sunday with more than 400 athletes taking to the water in a variety of events.Sychronised swimmers from around the country will test their endurance, athleticism, artistry and skill in solo, duet and team disciplines.
The competition, the highlight in the national synchronised swimming calendar, will see teams perform routines which are at least two thirds underwater.
Richard Apps, general manager of Ponds Forge said: “We are very proud to have been chosen to host this amazing event for a second year running and encourage anyone to come along to experience a truly memorable weekend.
“With the World Snooker qualifiers at Ponds Forge last week it’s a busy month for our venue.”
Day and weekend tickets will be available on the door from 9am on Saturday and Sunday.
