WIN: Galahad v Dickens ringside Magna tickets

Kid Galahad v Jazza Dickens for the British Lonsdale Belt at the Magna Centre, September 14.

Kid Galahad v Jazza Dickens for the British Lonsdale Belt at the Magna Centre, September 14.

Box clever and you could win today’s knockout prize - a pair of ringside tickets to see Sheffield’s Kid Galahad face Jazza Dickens, writes Graham Walker.

The steel city’s WBC International super bantamweight champ will fight for the British Lonsdale Belt at the Magna Centre, on Saturday, September 14.

It’s also live on Channel 5 from 8pm.

But The Star, as an official media partner, is giving you the chance to win a pair of ringside tickets.

We’ve also got three pairs of general entrance tickets for our runners up.

Chris Eubank Jr, Hughie Lewis Fury and a host of local talent will feature on the undercard.

Galahad and Dickens have both been nominated for the prestigious Boxing Writers’ Club Young Boxer of the Year Award.

Previous winners have include Ricky Hatton, Joe Calzaghe, Naseem Hamed, Nigel Benn, Frank Bruno and John Conteh, who all received the honour before going on to become world champions and now Galahad and Dickens could be about to walk the same path.

The 23-year-old undefeated WBC International champion, Galahad, who boxes out of the famous Brendan Ingle gym is already drawing comparison to former Ingle fighter Naseem Hamed and is confident he will come out on top in Rotherham.

Dickens, aged 22, will certainly not make it an easy night for Kid.
