kELL Brook promised Sheffield boxing fans a night to remember on Saturday.
At a press conference to promote his IBF welterweight title eliminator with Argentina’s Hector Saldivia, the Sheffield fighter insisted he was in “the best shape of my life” for the Sheffield Arena contest.
He said he had been “pushed like never before” and now had the “eye of the tiger” before Saturday’s ‘This is It’ show.
Promoter Eddie Hearn added that the public would see a new, fitter Kell Brook and one that was destined to be a superstar.
“To be pound for pound champion you have to prepare like one and Kell has,” he said.
Saldivia countered that he had sparred with the best boxers available for the past five months in America and was himself in great shape.
He promises an upset in the fight, to be screened by Sky Sport.
