Fighting the man who ended Ricky Hatton’s career seems a precarious business.
And Sheffield’s Kell Brook is the first to express his respect for Vyacheslav Senchenko, whom he meets at the city’s Arena on October 26.
But Brook says there is nothing in the iron man Ukranian’s game that can stop him winning and moving on to a world title shot.
Speaking on video at thestar.co.uk, Brook said: “Senchencko stopped Ricky Hatton, we all know he is coming to fight as we saw last time out, over here, he has got something to prove, so I have got a tough task on my hands.
I definitely respect him, he is an ex world champion he has only lost one, on a cut. He is coming to win, there is no doubt about that.
“He has got a good jab, he’s long he’s tall he’s good at everything he does, but I am just going to do what I do best and that’s win” said Brook. “Whatever he brings to the table I am going to have an answer for.”
Brook says his preparation is “spot on” for the contest and that tickets were “flying.”
