IF Ryan Rhodes has discovered just a few tips from this man, he could soon achieve his dream of being a world champion.
The boxer, rated world No 3 by the WBC, has just returned to Sheffield after 10 days at the Los Angeles gym run by Freddie Roach, pictured. He sparred with Mexican Roberto Garcia and trained alongside some of the world’s top fighters.
Rhodes said: “It was an unbelievable experience.
“Freddie’s got so many champions, from Manny Pacquiao and Amir Khan to Paulie Malignaggi. I more than held my own.”
Rhodes is seeking a title clash with Sergei Dzinziruk, Miguel Cotto or Cornelius Bundrage.
