Two big-hitting fighters have been rewarded for first round stoppages with another chance to show their explosive skills later this month.
Sheffield’s Waleed Din and Doncaster’s Luke Crowcroft both had short nights at Doncaster Racecourse on Friday night as they dealt with their opponents inside the first three minutes of their bouts.
Lightning-quick flyweight Din forced overwhelmed opponent Patrick Bartos to throw in the towel with a brutal body shot.
And newly-trim Crowcroft downed Jamie Gelder with a huge hook after stunning him with a quick-fire uppercut.
Former ABA champion Din will be in action again in November at the Octagon on the 30th, looking to make it three from three as a professional.
And the 21-year-old is also set to fight a fortnight later on the Hillsborough Leisure Centre bill co-promoted by Dennis Hobson and Frank Warren.
Crowcroft may have been expecting a quiet end to 2014 but he will be back in action on November 29 after being added to manager Stefy Bull’s latest show at Doncaster’s Dome.
Heavyweight Dave Allen is also on the Dome bill after his scheduled bout last Friday was postponed.
