INTAKE lightweight Scott Jenkins plans on letting his hair down over Christmas - but the young fighter has one more duel to prepare for before he can take a well earned vacation.

Less than a week after stopping Graham Fearn in the second round on the undercard of Ricky Hatton’s final bout, the 21-year-old is joint headlining a show with close friend Adam Etches on December 19 at Double Tree by Hilton Hotel to raise funds for Weston Park Cancer Charity.

Nicknamed the ‘Hot Shot’, Jenkins is determined to end the year on a high note.

He said: “I don’t know who my opponent is yet but I have got to get some more rounds in and continue to step things up.

“I will be taking my mind off boxing after the fight. I go on holiday to Tenerife in January with my girlfriend so that is something to look forward to.”
