GWYN WALE will line up against a familiar opponent as he bids to make his comeback following over four years out of the ring.
The Brampton light-welter 26, older brother of bantam Josh, headlines Carl Greaves’ Barnsley Metrodome show tonight. Wale will face veteran Jason Nesbitt, an opponent he first fought way back in 2004 and who has racked up no fewer than 120 losses.
Another boxer on the comeback trail at Barnsley tonight is Thorpe Hesley cruiserweight Neil Dawson, alongside stablemates Neil Beevers, Matthew Mallin and Ross Blackwell. Tommy Coward of Swinton and Barnsley’s Jonny Musgrave make up the rest of the card. Josh Wale will dispute the English title with Craig Lyon on February 26.
