CURTIS Woodhouse’s dreams of fighting for a British title anytime soon are over after he was knocked out in devastating fashion by Dale Miles at Rotherham’s Magna Centre last night.
Footballer-turned-boxer Woodhouse was stopped in the fifth round of his British title eliminator clash with Alfreton’s Miles. The former Sheffield United midfielder was floored by a right to the body and a left to the chin.
Light-welterweight Woodhouse held his own in the opening three rounds before Miles started to make his presence felt.
