MEXBOROUGH fighter Stuart Brookes continues his on-off affair with boxing, again, on April 19.
The 30-year-old middleweight boxes Huddersfield’s Alastair Warren, at Doncaster Dome.
Brookes, a tough, exciting fighter, packed in the sport in 2008 following the tragic death of his younger brother and fellow pro Scott.
He returned to the ring to taker a fight in both 2011 and 2012 but is now heading to the Dome, hoping to protect his unbeaten 13-fight record. Brookes hasn’t recorded a KO in his last six fights, so may be looking for an early night.
Brooks shares the bill with Barnsley’s Ben Wager, who faces Andy Townend, from Wakefield,
