PARSON Cross scrapper Wayne Reed is to boost his career by boxing in the region’s top venue on March 17.
Reed has fought just 11 times, but has boxed at venues including Sheffield Wednesday, Sheffield United and Leeds United. Now the 24 year old will compete on the Kell Brook v Matthew Hatton undercard at Sheffield Arena. He will face 2010 Commonwealth Games middleweight gold medallist Eamonn O’Kane, 29, from Northern Ireland.
The undercard also features a second Commonwealth title defence for Belfast’s Carl Frampton.
