Rembert scored his team’s first ten points as the visitors led 10-5 early on. A three-pointer from top scorer on the night Will Neighbour tied the teams at ten and Surrey edged in front after ten minutes.

Scorchers extended their lead, until Rembert hit consecutive triples, and Sharks were back in front when he connected from long-range once more to make it 43-41 inside the final two minutes of the half.

Sharks carried a 67-64 lead into the fourth quarter as George Brownell made 3/3 at the line to end the third. And they maintained their edge as the teams traded blows in the fourth, until Scorchers hit five in a row, taking the lead at 74-73.

Sheffield got the lead back when Cardell McFarland hit a three-pointer, at 79-78 approaching the final minute. And, despite going behind again, Wroblicky made a jump-shot with 38 seconds to play to put Sharks up 81-80 before his free throw heroics.
