Sharks keep the BBL Cup

Sheffield Sharks player-coach Atiba Lyons praised his team after they retained the BBL cup beating Mersey Tigers 93-65 and had a special word for the match's Most Valuable Player, Italian-American Steve Dagostino. "We did a good job defensively. Steve is a great player.

He's everything you want as a coach" said Lyons. He's hard working, can pass the ball and shoot. He does everything you need him to do; he led the team. It's always sweet to win a final. This year had a better feel. It is a great accomplishment to win it again. I didn't think it would turn out like this. But that's the thing about basketball, you never know what will happen."
