Sheffield Sharks will face the Newcastle Eagles at home in the opening game of the 2015-16 BBL season, on September 18.

The Sharks will face a tough opening to the season facing Newcastle, Cheshire and Leicester in the first month of the season, all of whom finished in the top-four in the last campaign.

Sharks have also been drawn against Manchester Giants in the first round of the BBL Cup at home on October 16, and away at Derby Trailblazers in the first round of the BBL Trophy on January 9.

Atiba Lyons’ team will face the Manchester Magic in a pre-season game on Saturday, September 5 in Manchester, and will be announcing further pre-season games shortly in the build-up to the start of the season.

So far the club have announced the re-signing of Captain Mike Tuck on a three-year deal, and will be announcing further signings in the coming weeks in the run-up to the season.
