James doesn’t care about Sharks

worcester Wolves coach Paul James says he doesn’t care about Sheffield Sharks’ difficulties this season.

The experienced James will lead his team at the EIS tomorrow night hoping to keep the pressure on BBL Championship leaders Newcastle Eagles.

And with the Sharks languishing down the league table after three defeats in four matches James said it doesn’t bother him where his opponents are: “I’m sure the Sharks organisation are surprised with their position in the table as this is not something they are accustomed to.

“It’s not for me to be concerned about another team’s performance or as to where they are in the league.”

Sharks will fancy their chances against Worcester though. Sheffield beat the Wolves earlier in the season with a Nate Reinking buzzer beater capping a superb fourth quarter come back for Atiba Lyons’s team.

James is ready for another difficult match, saying: “The Sharks are a good team with good players in every area. Justin Dobbins, Mike Tuck and Nate [Reinking] are their key players.

“When we played them in November, we controlled the game for the most part of the game but failed to close the it out. Should we be in the same position again I think we will do a much better job in finishing the game off this time.”
