The Sharks have the chance to go to the top of the BBL outright if they can beat Worcester Wolves at the EIS tonight (7.30pm).

Sharks, Worcester and Newcastle Eagles are locked together with on 12 points after seven league games and with the Eagles idle until Sunday whoever wins in Sheffield will be on their own.

Worcester lost for the first time this season last weekend with defeats in the league against Plymouth and BBL Cup against Leicester.

Sharks’ Olu Babalola said: “Worcester a very good team with an even better coach in Paul James so a win on our floor will be huge for us mentally.

“We respect everything they’ve done up until this point and look forward to having them come to Sheffield and playing an exciting game. We will come out focused and ready.”
