Sheffield Sharks have made their third signing of the summer with the addition of guard Brian Barbour.
The 22-year-old from California has just completed his senior year at Columbia University in New York City. He said: “I’m thrilled to join the Sharks and their organisation. To be able to continue playing basketball at a high level in Europe has always been a dream of mine and I can’t thank them enough for giving me this opportunity. I am looking forward to getting to Sheffield and getting to work.”
Barbour finished last season with 12.1 points per game. In addition, he is the only player in Columbia University history to finish his career with 1000 points, 300 assists and 100 steals.
