Sheffield Hatters guard Lauren Thomas-Johnson says spending time watching television is helping Great Britain at the EuroBasket tournament in France.
Thomas-Johnson and Steph Gandy are part of the British squad which will play the Czech Republic today in the first round of the second stage and she said doing their homework in the film room is paying off.
She said: “One of the biggest things in the lead up to this EuroBasket tournament is we’ve been watching a lot of film on ourselves and being able to reflect on ourselves.
“I think that will help us and being able to watch these last three games (first round matches against Serbia, Latvia and France) and take that forward.”
A victory today would put Great Britain on the verge of qualifying for the quarter-finals.
