JESSICA Ennis says she’s putting everything into defending her world indoor pentathlon title in Turkey in March.

Speaking after opening the new fitness facility at the English Institute of Sport Sheffield, Ennis, who celebrated her 26th birthday on Satuday - January 28, 2012 - said: “I’m feeling good. Training is going well. I’m preparing for the indoor season now so I’ll taper off a little bit and see how it goes.

“It’s the World Indoor Championship. It’s a big competition so everything will be gearing up for that. I want to peak for that and be at my best. After I’ll get back into my training and then obviously hope to peak for the London Olympics. It will be a good indication of how my training has gone.

“Every athlete wants to start the season by putting a marker down.”
