jessica Ennis has her last tune up today before defending her world heptathlon title in Daegu, South Korea, later this month.
The 25-year-old is taking part in the 100 metres hurdles at the Loughborough European Athletics Permit Meeting.
The Loughborough meeting is a happy hunting ground for Ennis. She set the event’s long jump record of 6.43m in 2009 before winning World Championship gold in Berlin a fortnight later.
Ennis flies out to the British training camp in Ulsan, South Korea, on Tuesday.
